A New Era for A Prairie Home Companion

Since 1974 A Prairie Home Companion has been a Saturday night staple for millions of public radio listeners.  It has been a program in the KWBU schedule since the station became an NPR and public radio affiliate station in July 2001.

One thing we know at KWBU is that listenership and membership support for this program has been declining.  What we don't know is what's next for A Prairie Home Companion on KWBU.  We'd like your feedback.

Have you listened to this weeks show?  What do you think about it now that Garrison has stepped down and Chris is the new host?

We're not going to make any decision over night, but we do want to know what you think. We have a special email account set up just for this purpose. Prairiecomments@kwbu.org.

On October 15th Chris Thile took over the helm of A Prairie Home Companion.  You can hear the show each week on KWBU - Saturdays at 5pm with the encore airing Sundays at 11am.
