Bill Flores' victory in November's midterm elections signaled a changing of the guard here in Central Texas, with a newcomer defeating 20 year Democratic incumbent Chet Edwards. That change was part of a national wave, with Republicans taking back the house. Now Flores is one of those candidates who finds himself a congressman, looking to act on the issues he campaigned on. He said the transition has been a fascinating time for him.
