This week on 103.3 FM, we're hearing from Pearland superintendent Bonny Cain, the lone finalist for the same position in Waco. In today's installment, she talks with KWBU's Derek Smith about attaining an exemplary rating.

That was a mindset that spread district-wide in Pearland during Dr. Bonny Cain's twelve years as superintendent. At one point, the south Houston suburb was the fourth-largest exemplary district in the state. She said the process of attaining that mark is a testament to attention to detail and teamwork.
