Bikers to Host "Silent Protest", County Jail Receives Surprise Inspection

It’s been nearly 3 weeks since the Twin Peaks shootout that left 9 dead, 18 injured and put more than 170 in jail for engaging in organized crime and now bikers from across the state and country are gathering in Waco this weekend for what organizers are calling a “silent protest." 

And yesterday The Texas Commission on Jail Standards inspected the McLennan County Jail and the Jack Harwell Detention Center – the facilities where those arrested during the Twin Peaks shoot out are being held.
