KWBU-FM is looking for a sales account executive who believes in the art of the relationship...who gets excited by discussing the quality of the audience, rather than living and dying by the latest ratings numbers…and who is passionate about our local community and the mission of public radio.
We are searching for a seasoned pro who is comfortable dealing with business and industry leaders. Creative proposal writing skills are a must, as well as the ability to conduct business in the online sales arena. Familiarity with KWBU programming and what makes public radio so special is a plus.
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of meeting and beating sales goals. A broadcast sales background is beneficial, but you could also come from other sales fields, as well as public relations, marketing, or packaged goods background.
Please send your resume and a sample of your best recent proposal – including results! – by email to Joe@kwbu.org or hard copies to KWBU-FM, One Bear Place #97296, Waco, TX 76798.
Position open until filled. Please submit information no later than 5/22/15 for highest consideration.
